2020年是个不平凡的年份。2020年，新冠疫情席卷全球，全球经济政治不确定性增强，各行业面临全新的机遇与挑战。

历经2020年的洗礼，站在全新的2021年，世界500强与行业领先企业的商业领袖们，对于自己与家庭的联系，对于所在企业及行业发展及全球化与合作共赢均有了新的理解。

今年的“CDF之声”栏目，论坛秘书处邀请参会代表们以“我的2020”为题，分享过去一年来自己与他们所领导的企业、所在行业与国家的共同经历与感受。今天发声的是波士顿咨询公司首席执行官李瑞麒（Rich Lesser）。

李瑞麒上一次在北京与论坛的代表相聚是2019年。这期间，世界已经发生了太多的变化，但李瑞麒表示，他总能被中国持久的韧性所震撼——中国从新冠疫情中迅速复苏并在2020年实现增长的能力令他赞叹。

回顾2020年，他感到，有三股力量深刻影响着我们的发展方式：

打破不平等壁垒的创新和技术之力；

应对气候变化的全局思考之力；

实现组织转型、守望相助并重塑初心的人际关系之力。

他认为，领导者的职责就是团结所有人，充分利用这三种力量，帮助社会和企业在最严峻的挑战面前取得进展，同时也在以上三个维度有所进益。

2020年也突显了技术和创新在解决严峻挑战、改善企业、经济和人民生活上所发挥的重要作用。

展望2021年，他相信中国在气候问题上作出的果断承诺将加速推动全球净零进程。在气候变化问题上，2021将是关键一年，中国、美国和欧洲都在关注气候问题，采取措施应对这一重要挑战。

中国的高质量增长不仅有利于中国，也将造福世界。

最后，李瑞麒指出，企业在推动合作和变革上的重要性是前所未有的。帮助企业领导者了解和掌握中国的发展动态，为合作和变革搭建桥梁将始终是BCG的重要任务。

大家好！我是波士顿咨询公司首席执行官李瑞麒。

非常荣幸参加了2019年在北京举行的中国发展高层论坛，并期待今年能够再次出席。这些会议以及与新朋旧友交流的机会总是给我留下深刻的印象并令我受益匪浅。

自从我们上次相聚于北京，世界发生了太多的变化，但我总能被中国持久的韧性所震撼。

中国从新冠肺炎疫情中迅速复苏并在2020年实现增长的能力令人赞叹。显然，随着企业找到创新的方式来满足不断扩大的消费需求，中国在2021年将继续在增长的道路上前行。

与此同时，中国在气候问题上做出的果断承诺也让我深受鼓舞，这将有助于加速推动全球净零进程。

在今年中国发展高层论坛即将召开之际，我想与大家分享一下我对于2020年的一些思考，以及我认为企业和组织在2021年面临的机遇，特别是在中国。

回顾2020，我认为有三股强大的力量脱颖而出，持续深刻地影响着我们的发展方式：

1． 打破不平等壁垒的创新和技术之力

2． 应对气候变化的全局思考之力

3． 实现组织转型、守望相助并重塑初心的人际关系之力

我认为，领导者的职责就是团结所有人，充分利用这三种力量，帮助社会和企业在最严峻的挑战面前取得进展，同时也在以上三个维度有所进益。

有太多的理由让我们继续怀揣希望、受到鼓舞。

过去一年突显了技术和创新在解决我们最严峻的挑战、改善企业、经济和人民生活上所发挥的重要作用，并加快了技术创新进程。几乎一夜之间，一切都转向了网络，从学校到工作，从购物到社交。

变化之快令人难以置信，其中最明显的就是高效疫苗在不到一年的时间内被研制、测试并投入市场，这在过去至少需要五年的时间。

但是，如果世界上只有一小部分人受益，那么这些成就终究无法算得上成功。

今年，全球不平等问题引起了人们的迫切关注，而技术可以充当有效的均衡器。无论是在公共领域还是在私营领域，身为领导者，帮助在更大范围内实现平等、为技术和创新创造公平的竞争环境是我们的职责所在。

早在2020年初，当全球的目光和资源还未倾注于新冠肺炎疫情之前，人们越来越意识到气候危机的紧迫性。

令人振奋的消息是，在2021年伊始，我们迎来了充满雄心壮志的中国、一位致力于应对气候危机的美国新总统，以及一个注重实干的欧洲。

今年，我们可以发挥重要作用，在气候问题上取得进展，采取综合措施应对这一关乎存亡的挑战。

最后，我知道在过去的一年中有很多企业高管非常关心他们的员工。他们意识到很多人都步履维艰，当人们不能在一起工作的时候，高管们用同理心和人性化的方式，为员工提供支持，打造集体感和使命感。

我们需要继续重视这些更深层次交往的力量，以及在新冠肺炎疫情结束后很长时间内，这些力量在释放人和组织潜力时所能发挥的作用。

总而言之，企业的作用及其推动世界向前发展的潜力，从未如现在这般重要——企业可以成为合作和推动真正变革的催化剂。

中国的高质量增长不仅有利于中国，也将造福世界，因为中国致力于成为全球议程的关键贡献者。

因此，BCG的一项重要工作就是帮助企业领导者了解和掌握中国的发展动态，同时为合作和变革搭建桥梁。

Hello， I’m Rich Lesser， CEO of Boston Consulting Group．

I was so pleased to participate in the China Development Forum in Beijing in 2019 and I’m looking forward to taking part again this year.I’m always so impressed and inspired by the sessions and opportunity to engage with old friends and new friends．

So much has changed since we last convened in Beijing – but I’m always struck by the continued resilience in China．

The country’s ability to quickly rebound from COVID-19 and achieve growth in 2020 was truly impressive． And it’s clear that China is on a path to continue that growth in 2021， as companies find innovative ways to meet ever-expanding consumption．

I’m also very encouraged by China’s bold climate commitment， which will help accelerate critical global progress toward net-zero．

Ahead of this year’s China Development Forum， I wanted to share some reflections on my 2020 and where I see opportunities for business and organizations in 2021， particularly in China．

As I reflect on 2020， I think three powerful forces came to the fore and continue to profoundly shape how we’re moving forward：

· The power of innovation and technology to break down barriers to equity

· The power of integrative thinking to tackle climate change

· And the power of human connection to transform our organizations， support our people， and renew our sense of purpose．

I believe it’s our job as leaders to collectively commit to using these three powers to make progress on the toughest challenges facing society and businesses， but also find within these areas．

So much reason to remain hopeful and inspired．

The past year highlighted and accelerated how technology and innovation can solve our most difficult challenges and improve business， economies， and our lives．

Almost overnight， everything flipped online， from school to work to shopping to socializing． And the progress has been incredible， including most obviously highly efficacious vaccines created， tested， and in market in less than a year， when in the past it would have taken five-plus years．

But none of these achievements will ultimately be successful if only a narrow slice of the world’s population benefits．

This year has drawn much-needed attention to the world’s inequities， and technology has the power to act as an equalizer． It’s our responsibility as leaders—whether in the public or the private sector—to help broaden that access and level the playing field to technology and to innovation．

Entering 2020， before COVID rightly grabbed attention and resources， there was increasing awareness of the urgency of the climate crisis．

The good news is that we have begun 2021 with bold ambitions from China， a committed new US president， and an action-oriented Europe．

We can play an important role in making climate progress throughout this year， implementing integrated approaches to this existential challenge．

Finally， I know of so many examples of executives taking care of their people this past year， recognizing how much individuals are struggling and leading with empathy and humanity to offer support and a sense of community and purpose when people can’t be together．

We need to continue to value the power of these deeper connections and their ability to unlock human and organizational potential long after the pandemic is over．

In closing， the role of business and its potential to move the world forward in a positive way has never been more important． Business can be the catalyst for collaboration and real change．

China’s high-quality growth will benefit not only China but the world as it commits to being a key contributor to the global agenda．

It is therefore a key part of what we do at BCG to both help business leaders understand and navigate the dynamics of China， and to build bridges for collaboration and change．
