佛经和佛像如何放置才如法

佛菩萨的造像，放在家里也是增加我们信仰信心的一种方便法门。不过若放在家里，切记为了保持恭敬心和对佛菩萨的敬仰，有三个地方是不可以的，一是卧室（有男女情爱）、厨房（有油烟污浊）、厕所（臭气污秽），所以最好的地方是客厅和书房，也有人放在玄关等处，都是可以的。

顺便谈谈摆放的方位和时辰。佛菩萨是大成就者，大慈大悲，法力无边，如需供奉摆放，不需要选日子、挑时辰、看风水、定方向的，“一佛破万煞”，不受限制的。因此，方位朝向其实无需讲究的，你觉得摆的庄严就好；时辰也不需要挑选的，恭恭敬敬，哪一刻都是好时辰，所谓“心诚则灵”，就是这个意思。至于民间盛传的那些讲究时辰、方位的说法，都是世俗对佛法的误解，所以我们不要把信仰和、风俗混为一谈。只不过民间还有一种习俗，让佛菩萨像面向门窗，寓意“开门见福（佛与福谐音），这个是可以接受的。

我们常人，对自己木有信心，所以就需要有外在的东西（譬如雕像啊、佛珠啊、吊坠挂件啊之类的）来增强；如果真正做到了心中有佛，有没有雕像都不重要了，因为睁眼闭眼、心内心外都是佛。
